Tuoreessa kuvavertailussa järjettömän kovan vastaanoton syystäkin saanut, alkuperäisistä kameranegatiiveistä 4K skannattu, ja Blue Underground'n uudelleen masteroima alkuperäinen Maniac.

"Eisenstein does it with cuts, Max Ophuls does it with fluid movement. Chaplin does it with nothing. Eisenstein seems to be all form and no content, Chaplin is all content and little form. Nobody could have shot a film in a more pedestrian way than Chaplin. Nobody could have paid less attention to story than Eisenstein. Alexander Nevsky is, after all, a pretty dopey story. Potemkin is built around a heavy propaganda story. But both are great filmmakers."

Mondo Digital on huomioinut artikkelissaan pienen ikuisuuden virallista Blu-ray julkistusta Code Red'lta odottaneen genreklassikon The Last Cannibal World aka Jungle Holocaust (1977), joka viimein on saanut osakseen edes jollain tapaa arvoisensa kuvakäsittelyn.

Blue Underground

"Our 4K restoration of Lucio Fulci's THE NEW YORK RIPPER is almost finished. If you liked our restoration of ZOMBIE, wait until you feast your eyes on RIPPER!!"

Onko Wes Cravenin Nightmare on Elm Street blu-rayllä leikkaamaton, toisin kuin DVD:llä? Jälkimmäinen oli kaikkialla USA r-rated theatrical cut, jossa Tinan kuolemaa lyhennelty siitä mikä Suomen teattereissakin nähtiin.
