Kaupattavien tavaroiden listalta löytyy useita erikoisia kohteita. Miltä kuulostaisi esimerkiksi Miss Suomen kruunajaistuoli omassa olohuoneessa tai Pertti "Spede" Pasasen nimikirjoituksella varustettu jakkara keittiössä?
Lisäksi listalta löytyy esimerkiksi paljon erilaista pienrekvisiittaa flipper-pelistä ruumisarkkuun, tekstiileistä kummituksiin ja säästöpossuista polttoainepumppuun.
Kiinnostusta herättävät varmasti myös useat huonekalut, joiden joukosta löytyy muun muassa Alvar Aallon ja Tapio Virkkalan design-klassikoita.
Helanderin erikoishuutokauppa järjestetään Helsingin Tapahtumakeskus Telakkalla ensi sunnuntaina.

"I am a former British Bomb Disposal Engineer (Royal Engineers), and have worked extensively in Mine Clearance and EOD as a civilian since leaving the Army in 1998. To cut a long story short I was involved in researching an area of North Africa that we were bidding on a mine clearance/assessment tender for a large Company, we didn't win the contract, however during my research I came across a source who in the 60's believes he spotted a row of APC's with their Copolas Welded shut, this corresponds with reports of the missing Rommels Gold that was reputedly welded into containers or Armoured Personnel Carriers, he said he is today the only person alive out of the small group of Army colleagues back then who had any knowledge of this, he can go back and physically show where he saw this, hereýs a bit of background:

Robin was a keen Scuba Diver and had explored many coves along the Libyan coastline with two of his colleagues, a week before his posting ended they were diving at a certain place, his two mates were a few hundred metres away looking at various things when he saw something very unusual at depth as he swam on the surface, he dived down repeatedly until his oxygen ran out and what he found sounded very weird indeed, a series of metal containers in pairs with sloping sides like the turret of an APC and several rows perfectly in line as if on the back of something that had sunk while transporting them, the unusual thing was they had only a slight slit opening on each container.

They had to pack up and head back to base and he was posted out that week, he told his mates if they could find out what that was then they should, they did go back but before they found those containers they saw something sticking out of the sand, they used their knife to scrape it and it shone like gold, they hooked it up and dragged it ashore and it turned out to be a 3,000 year old Bronze Ram from a Greek Warship! they fully intended to go back but when they left the Army they both passed away in accidents, one in a car accident and the other while saving the life of a fellow diver at 67m on an Oilrig. Libya then closed for all but locals late 60's so my contact never thought of ever going back, but in his article he stated that if someone could fund such an exploration, get permission from the Libyan Authorities and take him with them he will take them to the exact spot, if those containers don't turn out to be the missing Rommel's Gold then there is always the 3,000 year old Greek Warship to excavate!

So there it is, I am in contact with Robin, he wants to go back and will point out exactly where these items were found, but he needs a Company that will fund it, get the necessary permission and deal with Libyan authorities and take him along on the trip obviously. He can also show the exact locations of the sunken temples of Appolonia etc.

Anyone who puts forward an amount of money will receive a % of the overall profits in relevance to the size of their investment, we may end up not profiting at all, but on the other hand we may well uncover up to $100Million in Rommel's Gold! or at the very least a 3,000 Year Old Greek Warship and also a Roman Shipwreck; it's the Indiana Jones of Investments and the stuff that usually only come about in films or in dreams! Robin is 70 now so please think about this but let us know soonest!"
